PEACEMAKER COMING TO THE END OF SEASON 1 WITH EPISODE 8 (PREVIEW AND TRAILER 1X08, HBO MAX, DC COMICS)



Peacemaker was certainly a fun show from HBO Max, a worthy addition to DC Comics Universe with its funny lines and weird situations, and now it's coming to a close with episode 8 to be aired on Thursday, February 17, at 12:01 a.m. PT (3:01 a.m. ET).

What can we expect in the end from Peacemaker? He and his gang are going to confront the Cow and the whole Butterflies gang, and the showdown is promising to be as exciting as the whole show was so far. I doubt it's going to end on a cliffhanger and fully expect the issue with this group of human-infested alien beings to be dealt with. I just hope that we do not suffer any casualties as all of the character somehow ended being dear to me, even sociopathic-yet-life-saving Vigilante.

In the last episode, we saw Peacemaker deal with his father as White Dragon attacked Peacemaker, his son, and tried to kill him, showing what kind of a sleazy dirt bag and human racist scum he truly was.

In the process, his Eagly almost died, but then they rushed him to a vet shop where his favorite pet miraculously recovered.


The culmination of the whole episode when all the things come to a boil is when Peacemaker has to fight his father who is stubbornly determined to kill his son.  In the fight, White Dragon tells Peacemaker that he will never be able to kill his father and that's when Peacemaker pulls the trigger and blows a hole inside White Dragon, killing him.

I think that's that for White Dragon.  Don't think he can come back from that.  But I had enough of him anyway and his ugly hatred.  Watch the spoiler here:

 I am Dragon is one of the most remarkable dragon fantasy movie out there.  It's a Russian low-cost production, but let that not turn you away.  It pleasantly surprised me and millions of other fans.   The cinematics were beautiful, even if there was CGI involved in parts (like when the dragon is flying) and the story combines both legend, ancient people, and their rituals as well as a bit of a fairy tale element. It has a "Beauty and the Beast" feel to it, but both richer and deeper as a story. The exciting new period drama from HBO, the Gilded Age is in the mid of its first season, with episode 5 previewed to be aired on Monday February 21st.  It's set in New York city in the last 19th century.
